Commitment to Road Safety and Sustainability
Having previously held the Bronze certificate, we’re delighted to announce we’ve now met the Silver level requirements of the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS).
FORS is a national accreditation scheme measuring fleet performance. It aims to drive up standards across areas like fuel efficiency, carbon emissions and road safety.
We’re particularly proud of this accreditation because it demonstrates how we prioritise driver training, vehicle maintenance, and operational excellence, resulting in safer roads, reduced emissions and streamlined logistics.
The Silver accreditation is awarded to operators who, like Dura, have maintained their Bronze accreditation and are able to demonstrate that all driver licences and endorsements are verified through a service that directly accesses the DVLA data. As part of the assessment, we also had to show that all our vehicles over 3.5 tonnes are equipped with a left turn audible warning system and are fitted with blind spot minimisation devices.
Sustainability is amongst our top priorities, and we care about the role we play in our community, so it’s lovely to see the commitment recognised.
