Decking & Cladding Project Executive

Key Duties
- Deliver sector sales and direct profit targets in line with Sector Budgets by achieving personal sales and profit objectives as agreed with your line manager.
- Convert enquiries into orders by engaging in project discussions, conducting site visits, and ensuring efficiency and lost effectiveness in travel arrangements.
- Manage all types of leads, qualifying and raising opportunities in the CRM system, and providing accurate, timely quotations supported by relevant information such as technical drawings, enabling clients to make informed purchasing decisions, including consideration of non-product-related costs.
- Ensure all orders contain complete and accurate information, including specifications, drawings, and cut plans, to facilitate first-time order processing without errors.
- Oversee the project pipeline and manage all orders through the CRM system.
- Leverage market knowledge to identify new business opportunities and actively pursue leads.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all company products and stay informed about market conditions and competitor activities.
- Support the preparation and successful execution of sector exhibitions.
- Cultivate strong internal and external networks, building rapport and professional relationships that foster collaboration and business growth.
- Manage and develop client relationships, particularly with distributors and their branches, through site visits, calls, and appropriate communication methods.
- Ensure clients’ needs are addressed promptly and professionally, both during and outside of office hours, while offering support and assistance to team members.
- Take ownership of disputes within your area of responsibility, ensuring they are resolved successfully and at the earliest opportunity.
- Produce precise order documentation and drawings, maintaining clear and effective communication with internal and external clients and stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to contractors, subcontractors, and clients involved in fitting company products and materials.
- Conduct due diligence and uphold duty of care to ensure products meet all required performance specifications.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Decking, Cladding, or Floor related product sales is essential.
- Calculate material requirements and prepare accurate quotations for sector products.
- Strong technical understanding to build client confidence and ensure smooth project delivery.
- Awareness of economic trends and their impact on business operations.
- Proven B2B technical product sales experience.
- Confidently deliver professional presentations representing the business.
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
- Willingness to travel flexibly to meet business and client needs.
- Proficient in CRM or Salesforce systems.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong judgement, organisation, and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent active listening and interpersonal communication skills.
- Clear understanding of company and departmental vision.

Basic Salary
£27,000 – £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
NPGSBS
Potential to earn 20% of Basic salary, following one year’s service as part of the companywide Net Profit Gain Share Bonus System (NPGSBS)
OTE
£29,700 – £38,500 per annum (depending on experience)
Car Allowance
Upon successful completion of probation period, the opportunity to be eligible for a company car or opt out allowance.
Holidays
20 days per year plus 8 bank holidays
(Option to purchase 5 additional days per year)
