Each pultruded panel is easy to manoeuvre into place and has clever hidden fixings and a specially designed surface that’s suited to sustained vehicular movements and pedestrian foot traffic. To ensure the lifespan of the Dura Composites GRP car park deck solution, we conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to verify that the solution is able to perform repetitively at the required load and spans over the desired lifespan. FEA is a computerised technique that predicts how products will react to forces in the real world to ensure the safety and efficiency of each unit produced. The FEA process is then verified by vigorous live testing of the panel and support system if required.
