Just as you think we’ve introduced the whole Client Success Team, we’ve already expanded it! We’re excited to introduce two new members to the team, dedicated to helping us to make sure that all of your infrastructure challenges benefit from our award-winning d² product range.
This interview is with Jack Francis, our Decking & Cladding Client Success Manager!
Jack is brand new to the Dura team, but he brings a wealth of experience in high-rise regulations and standards!
Being new to the Dura team, how have you found your first few weeks?
I’m absolutely thrilled with my experience at Dura so far. The team has been incredibly welcoming, ensuring I’ve settled in smoothly. The Client Success Team is a highly driven and supportive group; there’s a real sense of camaraderie where every success is shared, and it’s truly inspiring to be part of such a collaborative culture. We’re lucky to have such a great People & Culture team here, who have consistently gone above and beyond to make my transition seamless.
Prior to Dura, what experience have you gained in the industry?
My previous role was with a market leader in balcony manufacturing, specialising in non-combustible offsite balconies which were designed, supplied and installed throughout high-rise blocks in London. It’s been great to see that safety is deeply embedded in the design of Dura Composites decking and cladding products. I’ve gained a strong knowledge of regulations and standards for high-rise applications, so this was a perfect match for my role at Dura due to the really strong product offering and values of safety and sustainability.
Despite it being early days, can you tell us what your average day-to-day looks like on the Client Success Team?
The majority of my time is client-facing, ensuring that they are fully up to speed with building safety regulations and our product capabilities. I offer support from start to finish of clients’ projects, whether that’s providing quotations, assisting a project take-off, or attending a site visit to address any challenges on site. I also assess fire compliance which is a critical task in this sector. Outside of on-site activities, the Client Success Team is so close-knit, and there’s always time to discuss new product ideas and current industry news.
Do you have any goals for your role within the Client Success team?
My main aim is to make as many contractors, installers and architects aware of the safety and sustainability benefits of the d² product range and how they can support current and correct legislation and guidance on building safety. I want our products to be at the forefront of the market, with the right resources and support available to provide safe and innovative solutions for high-rise blocks across the country. Within my short time at Dura, I’m personally really pleased to see the number of remedial projects being made safe through our solutions. That brings me more excitement than anything else.
Outside of work I…
Have a great passion for music, from listening at home, to attending live concerts or summer festivals. I was even a touring DJ for a period in my 20s which took me to some amazing places! Outside of this, I love hitting the gym and spending time with friends and family.
