Welcome to our latest and most attractive decking range yet. Our new Dura Deck® Inspire Porcelain Decking planks are strong, resistant to heat and water absorption, and come with an A1 fire rating. Our experts have crafted the planks in three elegant colour tones, each with a variegated wood grain finish which gives the deck the appearance of luxury traditional timber. Our unique porcelain planks are 20 x 200 x 1800mm for a classic decking look, which requires minimal upkeep and offers exceptional strength. Superb anti-slip performance also makes it a safe choice for high-traffic areas like commercial walkways, spas, and pool-sides.

The porcelain composition minimises the need for maintenance and has excellent anti-scratch and anti-slip properties. It is also resistant to frost and ice, with practically no water absorption, allowing the planks to withstand dramatic temperature changes without the risk of deformation.

Produced in Europe using 61% of pre-consumer recycled materials, all the raw materials used in the production come from a radius of just 500 miles. Our paper packaging materials are both made from recycled paper and are further recyclable, helping you to meet your sustainability goals.

With the appearance of traditional decking and a safe A1 fire rating, Dura Deck Inspire planks are suited to high end commercial applications. Plank Retainer

Once the Plank Retainer (Patent GB2620808) is mechanically fixed into place, it enables a floating porcelain decking system to be installed under self-weight in scenarios such as open steel framed balconies, without the risk of planks falling.

Providing pre-set gapping between the planks, the galvanised steel system also helps prevent wind uplift and allows for the quick removal of the decking for maintenance and inspection of the substructure.

Cross Spacer

The 3mm Cross Spacer ensures consistent even spacing between your Dura Deck Inspire planks. With all 4 tabs in place, the Cross Spacer is used at the junction between 4 tiles. With 2 tabs removed, the spacer is used where 2 planks meet.

Wall Clip

Our Dura Deck Inspire Wall Clips simply slot over the end of the planks to create a gap between the porcelain and the wall. With a spring loaded movement, the clip provides a 5 to 15mm range.

Delivery

Standard lead time on orders from our Webshop is 3 – 5 working days (Mainland UK; stock dependent).

Large orders may be subject to palletised deliveries which are to the property kerbside only. Your order will need to be unloaded by hand (hand-balled) off the lorry side. A person must be present to help unload the goods and sign for receipt. Delivery drivers are not insured to help unload the goods beyond the property kerbside.

For our Dura Deck Tile products we offer free delivery to the majority of mainland UK. Unfortunately, Dura Composites is unable to offer free delivery to certain areas – including Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands & Offshore Islands, Isle Of Wight, Isle of Man, the Channel Islands and the Isles of Scilly.

If you wish to return or exchange your goods, please complete the form dispatched with your order and return within 14 days to the address below. Items must be unused and in perfect, resale condition and in their original packaging, and the Returns Form must be included. Once the goods have been received and inspected to check they meet the requirements outlined above you will receive a refund (credited back to the method you paid with) or a new shipping notification for your requested exchange within 7 working days of receipt.

The replacement item(s) will be shipped to you free of charge (once per customer). Please note we cannot exchange items of differing value. If you choose to return any items that were purchased as part of a promotion, and by returning part of your order your remaining total means you are no longer eligible for the original discount, the value of that discount will be deducted from any refunds due.

Porcelain decking FAQs

Composite products are clever innovations which make life easier in some way for the user. In essence, they consist of two or more materials with different properties which are combined to produce something with improved characteristics (i.e. something that’s lighter or more durable than its original counterparts). Porcelain is a type of composite ceramic material that is made from clay, feldspar, and kaolin. It’s fired at a higher temperature than general ceramics, making it harder and more dense. It also absorbs less water, so it’s perfect for outdoor areas and places with high moisture levels.

You only need to look at a Dura Deck Inspire plank to see how much it stands out versus the competition! With its stunning wood-look appearance and texture, and a realistic 1.8m length that’s significantly longer than anything else on the market, it’s the perfect timber replacement for high-rise and commercial landscaping environments and is ideal for remedial decking projects on buildings that are no longer compliant with high-rise fire safety regulations. With a safe A1 fire rating, Dura Deck Inspire planks are resilient, stylish and anti-slip in wet and dry environments.

Porcelain decking has an extremely hard wearing finish that’s perfect for high traffic areas. We think the plank surface is so impressive and comfortable underfoot that we liken it to the feel of shark skin. Although not abrasive, the planks are resistant to everyday scratches and scuffs and are frost and corrosion resistant thanks to their low water absorption.

Dura Deck Inspire is A1 fire rated, making it completely resistant to open flames and extreme highs in temperature. This results in our porcelain decking being the ideal solution for applications where fire safety is of a high priority, such as high-rise buildings and rooftops. We offer solutions for both open steel frame balconies and concrete balconies.

The extensively tested surface finish of Dura Deck Inspire provides great anti-slip performance, recording low slip potential results in both wet and dry conditions. We’ve tested each colour individually for your peace of mind. As with any decking area, you must ensure that your finished deck has a fall to encourage water to run off. Simply consult our technical manual for more information.

Dura Deck Inspire has little-to-no water absorption. The porcelain decking planks are resistant to frost and ice, and able to withstand extreme fluctuations in temperatures with no risk of deformation.

Absolutely you can use a pressure washer to keep your porcelain decking looking clean and tidy. Make sure you avoid concentrating the spray nozzle for too long in any one area to avoid surface abrasion, and keep the nozzle an even distance from the decking for best results.

Porcelain decking is extremely resistant to staining and usually just needs a quick wash and brush down or a pressure wash using a mild alkaline detergent to keep it looking at its best, making sure to rinse well with fresh water after cleaning. For those occasional stubborn stains such as rust from your outdoor furniture, we recommend the use of a cleaning product called Deterdek from Fila Solutions, which contains high concentrations of surfactants.
