Hawksbeck Bespoke Garden Room, London, UK

    WPC Cladding

    Project Overview

In this project at Camberwell Grove, Hawksbeck created a welcoming space that blended cleverly into a heavily wooded area of the client’s garden, whilst maintaining a natural look and feel using composite timber cladding from Dura Composites. With cladding required on all four elevations of the building, Hawksbeck turned to Dura Composites to supply its stunning Dura Cladding Flush Resist product in Charcoal colour – a low maintenance but high-performance alternative to traditional timber cladding.

A stunning Garden Room with low maintenance Dura Cladding.

Hawksbeck are a family-run building company based in Shenfield in Essex with extensive experience in building bespoke, high quality garden rooms, gyms and annexes which help homeowners create extra space at the home they love, rather than moving.

This garden building project used low maintenance composite cladding to all four facades to create a woodland retreat in London’s Camberwell Grove. With a 150mm face flush-fitting cladding plank design, Dura Cladding Flush Resist is available in 3660mm lengths and can be installed both vertically and horizontally to create contemporary façade designs.

It is ideal for garden room projects thanks to its Class B fire rating and slimline fast-fit aluminium trims, which can be combined with Dura’s aluminium battens for a safe solution that gives peace of mind.

Made from an eco-friendly mix of reclaimed timber and polymers, Dura Cladding Flush Resist never needs painting or treating and is easier to work with than other cladding alternatives such as fibre cement, which can be brittle and lack the textural feel of natural wood. In this beautiful setting it created a relaxed but contemporary feel that fitted seamlessly into the bespoke Hawksbeck design which maximises the garden view.
