Degraded timber jetties replaced with Dura’s GRP solution.
Located in the Cotswolds in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Saul Junction Marina is a serene haven for boaters and visitors. With 284 popular moorings, a tried and tested solution was needed for replacing some of the degraded timber walkways which were reaching the end of their life.
Designed and supplied by Dura Composites, installed by Shoredeck
Situated at the junction of the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal, the marina’s idyllic location meant that key consideration had to be given to the decking selection to make sure it could easily blend into the surroundings. Knowing the affection for the marina from the community at large, owners Lakeland Leisure – who work hard to maintain and upgrade the facilities – turned to Dura Composites to help out. Our stunning teak grating made from durable GRP proved just the ticket for a swift upgrade. Dura’s installation partners, Shoredeck Marine turned the project around in no time at all thanks to their extensive experience and the lightweight and easy handling nature of the products.
